I Have My Results

Hey all; the results are in!  Check out the video below!

Some up dates . . .

Like a mad woman I have been checking my email daily to see if my DNA has been received.  And every time I checked . . . nothing.  I was starting to get worried that it had gotten lost in the mail.  But, I just checked and my specimen has been received and it is currently in lab processing!  I am very excited to see what the outcome is.  It is going to take another 3-6 weeks before I find out.  Now, I wait.

The Journey Begins

Today, Thursday, October 8, 2015, I received my packet from Ancestry.com.  I am going to see what my origins are!  It has been difficult to trace my family any further than my grandparents', parents. So, this new technology is quite amazing!  I have nervous excitement at this moment.  I have already created videos about the process thus far, and all I did was spit into a tube! The videos are below.

So, I could not wait for the results, and below are the next two videos I created.  I told you I was excited, lol.

This is the last video until I get the results.  I am not sure how long it will take for the results to come in, but I will be on pins and needles until then.  Stay tuned.
